Lambda Chi Alpha was founded at Boston University in 1909.  Six years later in 1915, Nu Zeta was the 22nd chapter established with 15 brothers who followed their fraternal experience with notable careers in business and public service.  Our tradition of leadership, accomplishment and brotherhood stands equally as tall today.

• In the 109 years since its founding, Nu Zeta has initiated over 2,500 brothers, maintaining one of the largest and admired active brotherhoods at the University of Georgia Greek System.

• Of the eight Governors of the State of Georgia elected since 1972, two are Nu Zeta brothers – Democrat Joe Frank Harris (Nu 610) and the sitting Governor, Republican Brian Kemp (Nu 1445).  Both are examples of Nu Zeta alumni strength and influence across generations of Georgians.

• Nashville songwriter and music executive Brother Bruce Burch (Nu 1132) was instrumental in starting the University of Georgia Terry College of Business Music Business Program after a writing career penning songs for country music legends Reba McEntire, Faith Hill, T. Graham Brown, Aaron Tippins and George Jones.

• Entrepreneur Brother Todd Graves (Nu 1665) is Founder and CEO of Raising Cane’s, a fried chicken restaurant serving in more than 600 locations across the U.S. and Middle East.

• Brother Charles Kelly (Nu 1923) is the Lead singer and founding member of the Grammy award winning country music group ‘Lady A’.
